Why the shop is willing to let you spray paint: spray painting is the lowest cost and the highest profit in the industry. The front desk service consultants also have their own "production tasks". After the task is completed, they can get higher income. This is the way to survive. "Anyway, there is insurance. If you can spray it, you can spray it, or you can buy it for nothing." this is the real idea of many car owners, and it is also a common saying used by 4S shops and repair shops to "persuade" customers. This also precisely achieves the purpose of both parties: car owners do not have to spend money to repair the car; 4S shops or repair shops can earn more (the more spray places, the larger the amount of claim, the greater the profit). No matter whether the car is parked or driving on the road, it is possible to be scratched. Therefore, painting is very common for a car. After polishing and polishing, the slight scratch may not be obvious. If there is a particularly serious scratch, which affects the appearance, it has to be repainted.




So is it good to spray paint the whole car? It can be divided into two levels: 1. From the perspective of aesthetics, it must be good. The whole vehicle is full of scars, or it has become "Iraq's car condition". It's good to spray it again. It feels like an old car becomes a new one. 2. In terms of paint quality, the re sprayed paint is far from the quality of the original factory. After spraying, the paint surface is soft and easy to fade, especially the front and rear hood and roof, after exposure to the sun and affected by the engine temperature, it is very easy to fade, because when the original factory spray paint, there is only metal body, there is no rubber parts such as tires, the temperature of the curing barn is usually above 100 degrees, and the vehicle is placed in the curing barn, and accessories such as tires and glass can not bear too high Temperature, so the setting temperature of the curing barn is about 50 degrees, so the paint sprayed at the later stage is soft, and the small stone will lose the paint after a little dozen.




There is also a drawback of late spray painting. The baking barn is not clean. The claimed "dust-free workshop" is quite different from the spray painting workshop of the factory. Dust is easy to fall into the paint layer and produce small particles and bubbles. Uneven manual spraying will make the paint surface defective. These defects are also the basis for judging whether there is paint repair. The color difference of the whole car is the smallest, but the hardness of the paint after spraying is not as good as that of the original paint, which is easy to fade. If it is a black car, it is easier to have small "patterns". Therefore, drive carefully and spray paint as little as possible.
